Alternative Dispute Resolution (SAL)

Version 1 · Effective from 2026-08-17

Alternative dispute resolution (SAL)

If a dispute cannot be resolved directly between the consumer and Gelvia Rent, the consumer may, under the conditions of the law, use the alternative dispute resolution (SAL) mechanism available through the competent authority/entity.

How it works

1. The consumer first contacts Gelvia Rent directly. 2. Gelvia Rent reviews the complaint and attempts to resolve it. 3. If the dispute cannot be resolved directly, the consumer may use the applicable SAL mechanism. 4. The consumer submits the necessary documents and evidence. 5. The procedure is handled by the competent SAL entity according to the applicable rules.

Notes

Participation in a SAL procedure is as a rule voluntary, except where the law provides otherwise. Gelvia Rent reviews each request individually and does not declare automatic acceptance of every SAL procedure. Eligibility of a request is determined by the competent SAL entity.

Courts

Using an alternative dispute resolution procedure does not remove the consumer's right to bring proceedings before the competent courts under the law.
