Right of Withdrawal

Distance contract legislation grants consumers a right of withdrawal under certain conditions, but also provides exceptions. Vehicle rental services with a specific date or period of performance may fall under a legal exception. For this reason Gelvia Rent does not automatically state that a 14-day withdrawal period applies to every reservation.

Regime applicable to Gelvia Rent reservations

Important distinctions

• Statutory right of withdrawal — a right provided by law, subject to its conditions and exceptions.
• Contractual cancellation right — the Company's commercial rules, described in the Cancellation Policy.
• No-show — where the customer does not collect the vehicle; the Cancellation Policy applies.
• Cancellation fees — apply only if configured and communicated in advance.
